Tribute to the late Gary Moore.

You were born back in the spring of fifty two
Yeah you were born back in nineteen and fifty two
You weren't born a king, *
No you weren't born a king
But you were a king of the blues
No, no, no you weren't born a king,
but you, you were a king of the blues
Oh-h-h-h yeah, oh-h-h-h yeah

Your guitar was born in nineteen fifty two **
Yeah your guitar was born in the same year as you
Old Greeny sure showed you how ***
Yeah he sure showed to make it cry and wail
Yeah Old Greeny sure showed you how
to make, to make that Les Paul cry and wail
Oh-h-h-h yeah

Still moanin' the Blues 'til you left us at the Costa del Sol ****
Yeah still moanin' those Blues 'til you left us at the Costa del Sol
We're still wailin' out those songs
Yeah still wailin out those songs the way you showed us to
Yeah we're still wailin' out those songs
the way, the way that you showed us to
Oh-h-h yeah
still wailin' out those songs
still wailin' out those songs
still wailin' out those songs
the way you showed us to

John Laurence, September 2013
