Through a collaborative effort in support of the new critically acclaimed CD release titled "What The Funk?" that is receiving radio airplay globally, Stevie Hawkins, "2012 Artists In Music Awards Winner as Best Jazz Artist" and Asteroid Funk are on course to blast the planet in full force, with megatons of authentic Funk, Soul, Blues, Jazz and Rock.

Stevie Hawkins on lead vocal and drums, is supported by a stellar backing band, including members of the Blues Brothers Band, Tom Bones Malone on trombone, Blue Lou Marini on saxophone, and Rusty Cloud on keys. Also in the line-up is Don Harris on trumpet (Tower Of Power-Chaka Kahn), Jarolsav Jakubovic on saxophone, (Lionel Hampton-Bette Midler), Chuck Webb on bass, (Stevie Wonder-Grover Washington Jr), Butch Taylor on guitar, (Brecker Brothers-Patti Austin), Nate Wingfield on guitar (The Family Stone-Jimmy Castor) at select shows, Van Abbott on keys (Reba McEntire-Dolly Parton) at select shows, and BB Brown on percussion and backup drums (Gregg Allman-Leon Russell). On background vocals are Ula Hedwig (Robert Plant-Al Green), Tabitha King (Usher-Keith Sweat) and Heaven Davis (Delbert McClinton-Koko Taylor).
