Dreamofasiagirl

Dreamofasiagirl is a music mixer from Houston, Texas. She uses Magix Music Maker MX to mix instrument and voice sound files to create her music.

Dreamofasiagirl started out taking piano lessons for five years and then self taught herself for another five. But, after moving around, she no longer had access to the piano. It had been 30 years since she played piano, but came across Magix Music Maker which allowed her to take music sound files, place them carefully up on the software screen, and mix the songs. She is now working on making some of her own beats to mix in.

Her songs are of various genres. You will find ambient, old school hip hop, and some electronica music in her collection.

Dreamofasiagirl has been working with bands from Japan to run USA street teams and making videos. The bands were already on their way--appearing on radio shows, TV and one even had a song on a Nintendo CD. She helped them to launch their USA pages at FB and Myspace to get them known outside of Japan. She has since turned over the pages to the bands so that she could spend more time with her own music.

Most recently, she was asked to write some music for Takamas Fukuhara, a Japanese computer painter that paints Mt. Fuji. You will hear this song in her tracks, and you can watch one of the videos on the video page.

Dreamofasiagirl also likes to swim, walk, watch movies, and do volunteer work at Houston Food Bank and senior centers. In her past she has danced, earned up to brown belt in tae kwon do, learned martial arts weapons, and worked in the background in TV and movies.
