I began my musical career in Mexico City, when first appearing in cafes performing with Latin American acoustic strings and wooden flutes. In my work, I incorporate string instruments such as guitarron (Mexican bass guitar), vihuela (Mexican accompaniment guitar), charango (lead and accompaniment guitar from the Andean countries), acoustic guitar, and a variety of wood-wind instruments (quena, quenacho, sikus, and more) from the Andean countries . With the timbre of contemporary and ancestral instruments, I create original and traditional music, to portray in the intangible, the colors of the soul of the Americas. My work is an exploration of signs generated from indigenous and contemporary philosophies of art.
