It has been suggested that Christine Bauer is one of Canada's best kept secrets. Her very unique Canadian East Coast sound is a blend of many genres and her songs are honest, heartfelt and very real.She draws her audience in with her storytelling and then mesmerizes them with her deep, passionate voice, emotional lyrics, and subtle guitar work..
She delivers a powerful performance driving her songs with mood setting percussive sounds she produces on her guitars, embellished with harmonica. The resulting sound is extremely full and the intense delivery of her stories enthralls audiences of all ages.

Christine was born in England and moved to Canada as a young adolescent. She lived in numerous places such as Winnipeg and Montreal, before settling down in the isolated community of Atikokan, located in the wilderness of Northern Ontario. By fourteen she was playing guitar and writing her own songs. At Age 18 she won a provincial singer songwriting contest. By her midtwenties Bauer had developed her distintive, throaty voice and began touring the fairs and festivals of Manitoba, Ontario and northern Minnesota. The Last Ore Train, was recorded live for the sound track of People Patterns, a T.V.O. documentary series.
