Note: The tracks i've posted here are demos, they are produced in my home studio to give potential producers an idea as to how I see the song. Bio: Rick Street is a USA midwest native, where he grew up with the sounds of the folk rock revolution in the 60s, playing and touring regionally. While attending the University of Cincinnati, Rick wrote and performed music for several theater productions: Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Brecht's "The Caucasian Chalk Circle", and Carmichael's "Another Day." He has also written several pieces for Brad Lang's "Three Hundred." Rick has recently performed the singing/acting role of "Ken" in Vincent Kee's "Sonny's Place: The Greatest Jam Session that Never Happened." Rick has also acted in Shelly Gibbs' Phat Cat Films productions of "Harmonica Man", "Wildwood Boot Camp.", and "Where Have All the Italian Cowboys Gone?" The latter was one of 24 official selections into Somerset Community College Theatres Digital Video Productions Winter Shorts Film Festival. Recently performed as Groucho Marx in "Holidays with the Legends." In 2006, legendary Fraternity Records released an EP "Rick Street and 3 Root Soupt" containing the singles Thief of Hearts and The Real Person Inside. In 2007, Rick released Improvimental Journey, a collection of instrumentals. In 2013, Tate Music Group released Lucky in Kentucky. Rick and his artist wife, Teina, currently live in Cincinnati. Some of Rick's influences include Frank Zappa's We're Only In It For the Money, Grateful Dead's Workingman's Dead, The Velvet Undergrounds's Loaded, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Freddie Fender, Townes Van Zandt, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and George Jones.
