Formed in 1992 The Strugglers is a four piece original Rock & Blues band from Denver, Colorado. The core of the group includes the Quinn brothers, Terence on bass, Joe on guitars with Brian Frost on vocals and guitar. With the philosophy coined by The Kinks Give the People What They Want, The Strugglers have made their bones with straight ahead rock and roll.
Released in 1996 The Strugglers first record Camp Corona: It Aint Vegas which also featured Chris Tonsing on drums and Brian Eloe on keyboards and vocals, the band has achieved a great deal of regional success that led to hundreds of performances throughout Colorado. In 1999 the band decided to take a break to catch up with family and friends, seek new adventures and inspirations.
The Strugglers, rested and ready to rock reconvened in the spring of 2005. After several lineup changes, most notably the departure of Chris Tonsing and Brian Eloe taking a more limited roll, drummer Todd Strandberg joined the brothers Quinn and Mr. Frost for what has become a much more focused and spirited quartet. Although many of their songs have at times included funk, heavy metal and pop characteristics, the boys always seem to get back to producing straight ahead rock and roll.
Released in July 2014 The Strugglers latest record Megaphone has received outstanding fan support and has a been getting worldwide attention on internet, satellite radio as well as local stations in their home state of Colorado
Thirty two years into this adventure the band mates find writing and playing their own music to be an excellent creative outlet and downright fun. Buckle up friends and enjoy the ride!
